Booking Holdings Inc.
Booking collects a fee when the traveler books, mainly lodging, through Booking.com, Agoda and Priceline. Expedia sells the same trade. The hotel can take the booking on its own site. Airbnb rents homes, and that is not the same book. It is not the reference platform by decree.
The fee can be cut. A year of heavy travel is not normal earnings. Advertising to bring the traveler is a cost. If the hotel fills through another channel, the booking does not arrive.
Cash is that fee. It has to fit. It is not a network that forces the hotel to stay.
"The advantage is the traveler who already books there and the hotel that already pays the fee. They can book somewhere else. The moat narrows if travel falls, or if the hotel keeps the booking."

Health is the debt of the platform, not of the hotel. Quality separates the lodging fee from other travel, and from the cost of advertising. Growth follows bookings, not a year of heavy travel. P/E is read against that year, not against that peak as normal. Shareholder return, if any, comes out of that fee. Do not read it as the channel the hotel cannot leave.
The P/E of a year of heavy travel is not the earnings if the booking moves to the hotel's own site. EV/EBITDA is read without treating advertising as if it were not a cost. Do not use Airbnb's multiple, which charges for the home, as if the hotel and the house were the same book. A dash if the BKNG cache is cold.
Not advice on Booking. Vaultflake does not treat the platform as the reference and does not state the fee. Read the filings. The table is a snapshot, not a target price.
