Amadeus IT Group, S.A.
Amadeus has two layers that should not be read as one. Distribution connects travel supply with agencies and other sellers, and charges for the booking. Airline IT runs inventory, reservations and departure control. The second is a multi-year operational project to replace. The first can be partly bypassed when the airline sells the ticket on its own site.
It is not a toll on every ticket in the world. Other global distributors exist, and a growing share of sales never pays that toll. Volume follows air traffic. When aircraft stay on the ground, revenue falls even if the software is still installed. That has already happened. This is not a subscription the cycle cannot touch.
The listing is Spanish and the business is global, in euros with other currencies translated in. Radar growth will follow traffic and software contracts, not a chip curve. Compare it with other travel systems, not with a retailer and not with a bank.
"The stronger moat is the system an airline already runs: removing it is an operational project, not a one-quarter vendor swap. The distribution network is an oligopoly of a few platforms, with a network effect between whoever offers seats and whoever sells them. That network narrows when the airline sells direct or when a newer standard leaves the intermediary out. Wide in installed software does not mean a permanent toll on the ticket."

Health depends on the debt left after the traffic stop and on the cash that returns with flights. Quality should show up in the software margin and in return on capital when volume is there. Growth is cyclical with travel and steadier in the systems layer already under contract. Valuation often pays for the traffic recovery in advance. Shareholder return is a dividend and buybacks when cash and debt allow it, not an aristocrat that ignores the air-travel cycle.
The P/E of a weak traffic year is not a normal P/E, and neither is the P/E of a recovery year. EV/EBITDA is more useful than earnings still carrying crisis items. Operating margin separates distribution from software. Cash flow after product investment is the real cash figure. An em dash is a cold AMS.MC cache, not zero revenue.
Not advice. Vaultflake does not model air traffic or one airline contract. This report does not count tickets or a distributor's share. Yahoo data on a .MC ticker can arrive thin. Read Amadeus's report before treating an axis as a business fact. The table is a snapshot, not a target price.
