Alphabet Inc.
Alphabet is a holding company whose cash engine is still Google Search and YouTube advertising, with Google Cloud, subscriptions and 'Other Bets' around the edges. The public profile should start from that mix: advertising is high-incremental-margin, cyclical with marketing budgets, and exposed to regulation and to changes in how people query information.
Cloud is the second act. It has scale but is not the default enterprise cloud in the way Azure or AWS often are. AI distribution through Search and Gemini can raise engagement or, in a worse case, disrupt the query-and-click model that funds the whole firm. That tension belongs in the report rather than a slogan about 'AI leadership'.
Capital allocation has historically been a mix of large buybacks, a modest dividend more recently, and heavy investment in infrastructure and bets. The balance sheet is typically fortress-like. The question for Vaultflake is not whether Alphabet can pay its bills; it is whether the advertising duopoly still earns excess returns as the interface of the internet changes.
"The core moat is intangible assets in ranking and matching algorithms plus network effects in advertising: more queries improve relevance, which attracts advertisers, which funds more distribution. YouTube has a similar two-sided loop between creators and viewers. Those advantages are wide but not unregulated; antitrust remedies, default-search payments, and app-store rules can tax the loop. Cloud is a scale business with weaker uniqueness versus Amazon and Microsoft. Do not confuse a strong brand with a guaranteed advertising take-rate in an AI-mediated search world."

Health should score well on cash and leverage. Quality depends on advertising margins and ROIC remaining high even as traffic acquisition costs and legal fines appear. Growth splits between ads (cyclical) and cloud (secular but competitive). Valuation often looks reasonable versus software peers because the market already debates disruption; the axis will move with margin of safety versus our DCF inputs, not with a slogan. Shareholder return is buyback-heavy; the dividend is still a small part of cash returned.
P/E can look optically low versus high-growth software and optically high versus a 'media' multiple. Use EV/EBITDA and FCF yield together so cash and net cash on the balance sheet are not ignored. ROIC remains the quality test for the advertising engine. Gross margin tells you mix between ads and lower-margin hardware or cloud. If a cell is an em dash, the payload was not in cache.
This page is not a buy or sell recommendation on GOOGL. Data are Yahoo-derived caches and Vaultflake engines. Regulatory outcomes, default-search contracts and AI product changes can move earnings faster than a quarterly radar. Other Bets losses are real cash. Read the 10-K risk factors; do not outsource that to a score.
